Pin Scramblers
Here we see the implementation of the high pin count channel reduction and pin scrambling solution. By using special low leakage connectors that accept 8 low leakage pins each mounted to a panel on the back of the probe station, a simple method is now available to pre-configure 96 channels that will be used for a NBTI test. You can see unused channels from the probe card hanging from the left side of the connection plate. This panel was added to the back of a probe station. The noise level at the probe tips is in the 50 fA range, even without shielding the connector plate. This noise level is well under the requirement for the NBTI test that is in progress.
- Have you ever had the need to be able to reconfigure a probe card from one test to another?
- Are you space and capital limited?
- Do you need to avoid multiple probe cards and harnesses?
This is a small economical product that allows manual switch connection to allow the reuse of harnesses and probe cards.
- Connections are virtually transparent using a pin scrambler.
- Different size scramblers are available in coax connections.
- Pin Scramblers are attached to the sides of probers
