Touchdown Sensors
- Have you ever installed a probe card and started a measurement only to find a few channels are in contact?
- Have you ever tried to adjust the probe card height using measurement equipment only to find you have guessed wrong and overtraveled a probe card?

These problems are solved with a Touchdown Sensor Box and Probe Cards Equipped with Touch down sensors.
Touchdown Sensor Box
Product Use: This product is primarily used with Multi-Site probe cards during the planarization and height adjustment phase of installing a probe card.
- The LED Lights Turn off as point touch down sensor on the probe card come into contact and are overdriven enough to active a switch at each point in the probe card.
- The goal is to get all the LED's to turn off at the same Z height.
- Probe card Z height Sensors have a +/- 10 micron tolerance.
- Product is used to establish planarity so all probes contact with equal pressure.
- Product does require that the wafer chuck be flat and planarized prior to use.
